thanks for the encouragemnt! every bit of motivation helps to keep going. I am in utah, where it is always beautiful. I checked out your blog and love the bits about running in the snow and singing to yourself. I sound better than any ipod (and can lay a good beat with my feet, too)

Few people on here from Utah, sounds nice. Ha ha when Im easy running I sing to try keep the pace down and it helps, as I am a lone ranger, I need a slower runner for my easy runs to keep my pace down and a faster runner for my sessions (actually I dont need anyone to push me harder as Im a sucker for pushing my self to hard in sessions LOL).

today was the first time I have tried dowing interval training as I have only been running for a couple of months... I'm not sure what it'll do fer my speed, but I feel happy!

I think I can do 3 miles on a tread mill these days but probably not much more. I guess if the weather would stay this cold it would be a different story.

I did see you two at the top... the road is nice to run on in the right conditions. there are some picnic areas, cabins, and a yurt at the end of the groomed road.

millcreek loop past dog lake, desolation, up to great western trail with crazy views of the uintas in the alpenglow and a big thundercloud above. 1 inch of new snow on the ground at the top. alta and brighton shrouded in storm clouds. sun went down fast and I had no headlamp so I used the force. no falls 2:20-ish
